Hey there! so here is how my classical greek art. First what i did was do the sketch (obviously) 

after that you have to do sexy lines or ink it, after that you can start doing painting. ones you already finish putting color, you can put some detailsor shadows, lighting to enhance your drawing. when yoour done with some shadowing you ca now make more details.
